The phrase "Chronic Reductionism" alludes to the human impulse for compartmentalizing reality. Through this body of work, Diego Lechuga wants to point out the deep contradictions that prevail in our world; contradictions that could have been called extinct by modernity or the shallow promise of progress of the current times. As these problems become more evident, the artist's intention is to use the resulting awareness to channelize efforts to help non-profit organizations around the world.
